The "War on Terra" is both a racial and religious war - The War on Them

I was listening to NPR Saturday and heard an interview of voters in Fla. and one said "these people, the only thing they undestand is force. And I would lay down an ultimatum to 'em, if I was the President 'For every one of our people that you kill we're going to take out fifty of yours.' This represents the thinking of many in this country.

"These People" "Them" "They" - some people are so isolated and ignorant in this country that they believe this. They believe in this nebulous, brown skinned heathen. They feel that they are some sort of half-evolved brute. The current administration is capitolizing on this ignorant hatred and keeping people in a state of fear to foster it.

It sickens me.

4. I disagree - its more than that. It plays upon the very nature of racial

hatred. Fear and insecurity. Toss religion in the mix and it becomes ok to kill, even if YOUR religion says it is wrong.

more to it. Greed is definately the prime motivator, no doubt. I feel that the nature of the Iraqis makes it easier for the US to invade.
