Why do fascist republicians hate America?
Honestly, they want America to be a fascist dictatorship, why do they hate the Constitution and other Americans as much as they do?

1. why?
Because they hate themselves, and as a result are incapable of loving anything or anyone.

2. They hate those that are different & they fear change.
They are small minded people who fear bigger & better people & ideas. They lack the confidence, skills & wherewithal to become what they fear. Their only hope is to maintain the status quo. They are fighting a losing battle cuz change is the only constant in the universe.

6. I have agreed with you before on another thread..and
I certainly agree with you here. Look at all the issues they oppose, mostly based out of fear and/or fear of ideological change, such as gay rights or minorities in general, evolution, science, abortion-rights, feminism, environmental protections, on and on. Basically, anything that shakes their foundation. I think they are habitual creatures who are easily threatened.

I know I am generalizing here and there are varying degrees of conservative think, but you can usually find one to several of these issues above that they will refute.

5. Why did the Nazis hate Germany so? The answers are the exact same ones.
If you figure it out, you will be famous for understanding the oldest of human motivations: Barbarous Scapegoating and Unquestioning Obedience to Monsters

8. Constitutions & freedoms get in the way of making $$$ & controlling minds
There are two basic kinds of Cons out there: those that are pukes for social reason, and those who are pukes for economic reasons. They have a sort of unwritten suicide pact that joins them at the hip. The fundevangelicals spew their gospel of wealth, and the rich pay homage to the fundevangelical mission of tighter religious control. Fundevangelicals want control of people's minds; the rich want all the money. So they work in tandem to get what they want.

11. Some people think the world is an evil place.
Edited on Mon Aug-09-04 02:57 PM by Cat Atomic
They'll give up anything- their rights, the Constitution, their neighbors- anything for a little protection from that menacing world.

Other people think the world is a pretty good place overall, but could be improved. They aren't afraid of learning, they trust people to do the right thing more often than not, and some of them even have sex just for pleasure (believe it or not).

I really think that's the basic division among people, whether you call them conservatives vs. liberals, or fundamentalists vs. secularists, or royalists vs. roundheads.

12. They hate not being able to think for us
They can take our rights. They can silence our dissent. But they can't make people think what they want to us think or act the way they want us to act. That is their final frontier.
