MSNBC poll: Which candidate makes you feel safer?
This is a strange question. I doubt it would ever be asked of Europeans, since their personal safety isn't much of an issue; it's taken for granted that one will be safe in Europe.

Europeans don't live in fear, as do Americans.

1. Kerry makes me feel safer because......
....

HE DOESN'T HAVE TO TELL ME 20 TIMES A DAY HOW MUCH SAFER EVERYTHING IS BECAUSE OF SOMETHING EVEN THOUGH WE ALL KNOW THE WORLD AIN'T THAT SAFER

8. I'd feel safer with Bush if he were institutionalized
while learning a skill at the same time, perhaps language from Koko.

2. Smirky answered this one just the other day............
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we," Bush said.

"They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

3. Well, that doesn't seem to be the case in a number of recent european
elections, where the main issue was one of "securite'" or safety (germany, france, netherlands, belgium all come to mind -- along with their associated far-right parties' electoral gains)..

5. In Germany, that "safety" had to do with medical benefits
Germans are lately having to pay more for medical service, and they fear their health care is becoming like America's. They do not want that.

I find it interesting that Americans would fear terrorists more than their inability to be immunized.

7. Remember that Bush said he'd be CEO...
...what's the purpose of the "corporate entity"? To limit liability for the shareholders and the Board. I'd say his being the CEO is pretty accurate, he's worked overtime to limit his own liability and accountability.
