:wtf: CBS this morning covered mercury contamination of the lakes in the mid-west. High levels of Mercury have put restrictions on how many fish you can safely eat. They also reported the main source of the mercury is coal burning electrical plants. The one thing that they didn't report...was that * authorized the re-opening of over ninety old power coal burning plants through out the country... 11 or 12 to open up in Illinois and several here in Michigan. These are old plants... that don't even come close to meeting todays emission standards. Which aren't good enough presently to prevent mercury pollution of our lakes. So what does * do to get these old plants so they can legally start operating. He LOWERS the standards for these plants.

He is definitely going to create more jobs... in HEALTHCARE... with the increased cases of asthma and other lung disorders....not to mention the increasing mercury levels......jeeeeeze... he pisses me off..... :grr:

1. Remember he's "covering his butt" for the oil price increases. He will

smoke us out, and poison us out until we build more nuclear plants and drill in Anwar and off our coastlines because we are dying.

It's all part of the plan. But then, remember, he told Novak: "Who cares, we will all be dead..." when asked about how he wanted to be remembered by historians.

He doesn't care. He grew up in Texas and isn't dead or suffering from asthma, so he thinks there's NO PROBLEM.....

because he is a "born-again" fundamentalist. Believes that this is the "End of Days". Is trying to hasten all our departures from this Earth....if there is a diety of some sort, I'd like him/her/it to smack him upside the head for his overwhelming hubris.
