Favorite Repug Question "Do you think the world is better off
without Saddam Hussain in power?" That is their catch all response to any type of criticism of the Iraq invasion.

What do you think would happen if some brave soul said:

"Hell No. We now have terrorism in places we never had it before. We cost thousands of lives, American, British and Iraqi. We are NOT better off and neither is the WORLD."

do you think the world would stop spinning? Just for grins, try to imagine O'Liely's response if someone said that to him.

1. No; nor are we better off in the United States..
Than we were four years ago...nor is our economy, nor our National Debt, nor our annual Federal budget deficit, nor are we any safer at home...and so on, and so on...x(

2. Someone had a great reply
I'll goof it up but here goes...

Knowing that the WMD claims were lies, are we better off with over 900 of our soldiers dead?

3. Remind them that it didn't have to be "either/or"
A president with a shred of leadership ability might very well have rallied the world to solve the Saddam problem once and for all... without a full-scale invasion and all the horrible consequences that have followed.

It never was "invade" or "you're a Saddam-lover," as the pukes would have us believe.

5. One thing I usually point out
If the world is so safe now, thanks to Bush getting rid of Saddam, why are we still scared shitless about a terror attack here? Why is the administration convincing us that there will be a terror attack by November?

I mean, didn't getting rid of Saddam magically solve all our problems?

What did it actually accomplish?
