Does Goss have an opponent in this election?

If the incumbant (Goss) was not running would the Democratic challenger have a chance?

With just 87 days until the election, would there be time to run another Republican candidate in his place or would he still be the Repub candidate and Jeb appoint his successor if he won?

The Repugs will nominate a replacement to run in the election.

The are no appointed Congressmen. They must be elected.

His seat in FL is very Republican, though the next seat up the coast (Katherine Harris) is vulnerable.

5. I didn't realize Goss wasn't running

Before I posted I tried Googling to find out who Goss' opponent was and couldn't find anything about his race. Of course, I was using his name in the search.
