X,Y or Z cut back 100 or so jobs and reported record profits for the second quarter.This is in addition to the outsourcing of jobs to India or China and the drop in retail sales and auto sales.

I think what is going on is that increasing automation in our economy, the export of jobs to India and China and the hollowing out of our middle class are occurring simultaneously.No amount of tax cuts to stimulate growth will reverse the tide of corporate investment overseas in search of higher profits.In fact, a downturn gives the perfect opportunity for a corporation to relocate many of its operations overseas.No matter what the Republicans say, our corporations owe no loyalty to American workers and this is the message Kerry-Edwards need to hammer home.Without this kind of differentiation, American workers have no reason to vote for either one of the parties.
