Their little heads are going to explode when Kerry wins. I almost (almost) feel sorry for them. It's going to be so much fun watching Woodruff, Crowley, Wolfie, and all the other Bushwhores try to explain how they could have been so wrong (yet again.)
It says a lot that Keith Olbermann, one of the best out there, didn't know this about Kerry's campaign. This is from his blog:
***********
I don’t know Ryan Lizza from Adam; he’s a senior editor of "The New Republic," but until he came on “Countdown” last night I couldn’t have told you if he wrote for the magazine, or sold it door-to-door. Nonetheless, hearing his insights reminded me of thumbing through those scouting reports. There, amid the traditional blah-blah-blah, was something unexpected. Kerry campaign appearances have been littered with faintings. On a particularly hot day, as many as 100 treated for varying degrees of heat exhaustion.
<snip>
Hang on. That’s much more than a medical curiosity. To have 100 people feel woozy at a political event means there has to be countless more who don’t. In fact, that was Lizza’s third or fourth point. Kerry’s been drawing 20,000 and up per appearance. They’ve waited up to five hours each for his arrival..<snip>..He (Lizza)expected to see a continuance of the phenomenon from the Democratic primaries: the ABB factor (Anybody But Bush). Instead, he sensed - and those images of supporters being taken off on stretchers seemed to confirm - genuine support for Kerry, not just as Bush’s opponent, but for himself.
<snip>
That’s very dangerous news for the incumbent.
