13. Wow. This guy at Oveis is GOOD:
"...Speculation is that Goss, a former CIA operative for nine years, an eight-term Republican congressman, and chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, tops Bush's list of candidates for the post. No fool, Goss has apparently been planning ahead. He introduced a bill last month that would expand the CIA director's authority to about 70 percent of the intelligence budget. Coincidentally, that was one of the key recommendations made by the joint Senate-House report on the 9/11 attacks, which was co-chaired by, you guessed it, Porter Goss. Critics say Goss's political antics reveal a partisan streak that compromises his ability to be a fair and diplomatic CIA chief. Most recently, he interrupted debate on the House intelligence authorization bill by displaying a sign with a 1977 quote from John Kerry that called for cuts to the intelligence budget. Additionally, Goss tacked language onto his bill that was highly critical of the CIA, saying the Agency's directorate of operations was heading "over a proverbial cliff" and is in danger of becoming a "stilted bureaucracy incapable of even the slightest bit of success." The language put Goss at immediate odds with senior CIA officials, even causing George Tenet to say the criticism was "ill-informed" and "frankly absurd."

Bottom line: If Bush is looking to pick a protracted political fight--and it wouldn't be the first time--Porter Goss is his man. Odds: 3:1

20. No option for "Porter who?"
I mean, really! Does anyone believe that most people would know Porter Goss from a two-toed sloth? Yes, I can imagine he's appeared on "Late Edition" to register with the CNN viewers, but still...
