You let someone on the show that you know is lying, allow him to repeat the lie, knowing that it will do harm to a person's reputation because it's untrue, and you make yourself an accessory to their slander.

16. It was pretty much a snoozefest

The show seemed about equally divided between Bush swifties and real swifties. The smearvets are still smarting that they were outed as war criminals by Kerry and said little to nothing about Kerry's war record, while the ones who served with him managed to stay on topic.

David Halberstam waxed quite eloquently about the Vietnam issue itself, and sneered appropriately at the smearvets. Opposite him was a bimbette from CSM who probably said something, but she made my eyes glaze over.

But of most import, the lying scum were interviewed, thereby given an additional 16th minute of fame. That they're whining about lack of exposure isn't very remarkable, given their nature.

That said, I think they should get 24/7 coverage. Kerry couldn't invent a more pathetic group of adversaries.

14. Another Lie...They DON'T Want Interviews

O'Neill is the only "spokesperson" for this goon squad while the others are just lending their names to give some "strength" to his scam. The fact that these liars have been given credibility on shows like Nightline and have started people questioning Kerry's military service, that's all they're designed to do.

Now Kerry can screw up and go after these goons personally, or let others handle this for him...like Max Cleland and his other REAL brothers.

This is a disinformation campaign and the object is to distort Kerry's record enough that no matter how the truth rises about the lies, the waters have been muddied enough.

These slugs have all but used up their shelf life to this regime and the dung has been smeared. It's on to the next round of lies and distortions.
