Reading all the Diebold and BBV issues, I just had the worst theory.....and it is not precisely what you think, but here goes....

Bev Harris showed us all with Dr. Dean how easy it is to hack into the system, right? OK - here is my theory - the republicans will not steal the elections through direct tampering of the elections.....but there will be problems, inconsistancies...we all know how long the democrats have been talking about this issue........
Election day will come, and it will be found out that democrats will be caught tampering with the system ....and the elections will be declared DEFUNCT, giving Bush a mandate for 4 more years.

Classic bait and switch.....tell me I am just plain crazy, but this would annihilate the democratic party and Bush would be riding higher than ever.

We've brought up the issue of security and accountability. If there are any situations where people aligned with our side having any questionable actions, they will put their team of legal experts into the fight. Any action from "our side" has to be of unquestionable integrity. Let them rely on deception and the "big lie" we can win with the "Big Truth".

If the election goes to Kerry, then the Republicans are going to file lawsuits in any number of states. They are going to create a constitutional crisis, which will give them the excuse they need to refuse to hand over power to Kerry.

They are going to drag this election through the courts, so that even if Kerry wins, they will make sure he loses.
