Big Dog: "If you are a Democrat, you win when people think."
From last nights Daily Show appearance of President Bill Clinton. He ripped the Swift-Liars like a 1X6 on a sharp table saw. A nod of the head and a smile and Clinton looks better than Bu$h on his sharpest day. Thank goodness Kerry is letting Clinton out of the cage. That was one of Gore's fatal mistakes.

3. A lady to Adlai Stevenson when he was running against Ike:
Woman: Oh, sir! You are so great! Anyone with a brain will vote for you!

Stevenson: Madam, that is what worries me.

I paraphrase. That was the general gist, though.

And he really didn't pull any punches. The thing I noticed, which with Bill it's not hard to notice, the man has a grasp of the englishn language! He knows how to talk, he spoke quite well in the manner of saying how vile repugs are without coming right out and saying they are a bunch of weasly assholes. He said it, but didn't say, know what I mean?

4. I know what you mean.
No rancor. No recriminations. Not in public.

But man, he must ROAST 'em in private. With every right to.

5. Clinton is comfortable in his own skin. Extremely comfortable.
Psychopathic liars, like Bu$h, twitch like Jones-ing addicts. You never know with the scraped-up, rheumy-eyed Bu$h. Bill Clinton is, in a veterinarians words about my smart dog, "bright, alert, and responsive." Bu$h fails the basic test for a healthy dog. Arfff!

6. If you have to depend on people "thinking" we lose...I think.
Most people don't want to think, they want someone to tell them what to think. And if you tell them something hateful to think, they love you.
Just consider, Rush, Hannity, Coulter, O'Reilly, Bush, Rummy, Cheney...nothing kind ever comes out of their mouths and they always tell people how to hate and fear.
