Believe it, or not.....a kudos for Dennis Miller!
Why, you might ask?

Because he was a gentleman toward Paul Krugman tonight. He let him answer his questions...most of them ignorant, some of them pointed, all of them slanted toward the pug POV.

BUT, and it's a HUGE one, like Limbo's, he let him finish, and, of course had no answers to Krugman's well-thought-out responses

The highlight for me was when Krugman brought up OLiarly's insistence that he talked to Blix before the war, and Blix complained about Saddam's truculunce, etc. Krugman said that, upon checking, he'd found that Blix hadn't been on the show til well AFTER the war'd started. Miller was left with the rejoinder of something like: well, I didn't think he was in Iraq at ALL!

That said, give Miller credit this one time.

The difference between Miller, a craven wingnut apostate, and OLiarly, a craven wingnut psychopath was made very clear tonight.
I know Miller has been very rude (zzzzing out on Alterman), but he was very mannerly tonight, to his own detriment, cause Krugman was more than a match for him on every front.

very good TV

watch the rerun.....it was just before the half hour mark

1. Dennis Miller is such a hypocrite. When it became apparent
that Kerry was overtaking Bush in the polls, Miller said he was going to tone things down. Not because he saw the error of his ways, but because the only thing he cares about is hanging on to his last remaining particles of fame. He went from caustic liberal to caustic repug in the blink of an eye. He knows repugs are on the way out and he doesn't want to stay on that sinking ship.

3. Saw DM the BM pass a few stinkies tonight.
Even Dennis has to shrivel up his nostrils sometimes to avoid the stinkeroo of the misinformation that comes wafting out of his profoundly undereducated being.
