Is this the Babs Bush "Beautiful Mind" contingent?!

We are embroiled in what's shaping up to be a lovely "civil" war between Al Sadr's Shiite militants and the government we supposedly handed "control" over to. Every other paragraph in this story could be a headline in and of itself. Since we gave him Fallujah, now there's a mess in Najaf; the vp tells the US to stay out of it, but the "government" (who?) says to stay in; somebody made a deal to stave off an attack on the oil fields (who?) and every deal grants a little more power.

It's a total mess, we are not "winning," civilians are dying and suffering injury by the hundreds, yet we're hearing all about Laci Peterson on TV and somebody's rating this story down...

That's all fine and dandy if you ID the right 'bad'. :eyes:

Meanwhile, this story on Dafur is No.1 (which isn't such a bad thing)

4. And the thing is, since they're not paying attention NOW,
they'll have somebody like Rush Limbaugh provide a revised history of it later. That's the pattern. Then they'll send out mass emails getting all the facts wrong and blaming it on President Kerry, and we'll be searching back to these news articles to correct them. Happens every time!

5. I'll bet news from the Eastern Front was not appreciated either
We may be pressing reporters not to report truthfully what is happening in Iraq.
but if we focus on the 3 Bs, ( babies, birthdays and boweling ) life will go on as normal.
