I fear a repeat of 2002 all over again
due to the fact that if the Dems oppose the nomination of Goss then the Bushies will call them unpatriotic especially if there is another MIHOP terrorist attack. Don't get me wrong.... I would hold up his nnomination indefinitely, but we all know how the media is going to play this one again, just like in 2002.... The nomination of Goss is a setup....

1. actually if you were to redo 2002 again
it would be the dems giving in to Bush and not opposing him.

2. Exactly, the Dems lost in 2002
because they were a spiritless lot trying to keep a low profile instead of working against the excesses of the Bush crime gang.

3. NO, the Dems lost in 2002 because they stood up to Bush*

on maintaining the civil service protections for employees of the about-to-be-created Homeland Security Agency. Bush* claimed that Dems were obstructing national security to play politics, which is EXACTLY what he's gonna say when/if the Dems oppose Goss.

5. 2002 Campaign Was Actually Decided by Theft and Murder
Wellstone's plane falling out of the sky.
Stolen elections in Georgia.
Without those, Democrats would still control the Senate.

4. Goss wants a "muscular" covert action policy.
And, essentially says to hell eith what the world thinks if we start assasinating people, undermining goverments, and all the action movie scenarios that the CIA thugs are so inept at.
