Russert can *maybe* qualify as impartial. He's kind of a badger with everyone. Buchanan has actually been helping us these last few years so I wouldn't speak badly of him, but I really think Kerry shouldn't validate these charges by going on anything.

don't get purple hearts, bronze stars and silver stars on their own volition. Others have to put them in for them. Besides, if someone is questioning Kerry's medals how would going on Russert satisfy them? The burden of proof is on the naysayers and so far they have come up with nada to support their allegations. All they have are 30 year old dusty memories colored by political partisan bias - not exactly the basis for a strong case to go against official military actions.
