2. I voted "No" and don't understand why folks vote "yes"
Bring the troops home, the Iraqis don't want us there, they want to get on with their civil war without our hindrances.

I'd vote 'No" if they had junior and cheney and rumsfeld and other top dogs trapped in Saint John's Cathedral in New York City.

I really look forward to a civil war with hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and childen murdered! <sarcasm>

This is the beginning of the end. In a few months we'll wind up escaping from this hellhole with only a few thousand lives lost; then the country will explode...

9. I think this points to the fact that so many in this country
are uninformed. If this many would support attacking the site sacred to all followers of Islam, not just Iraqis, they do not know the firestorm of violence that would ensue throughout the world. Perhaps no one has told them or maybe they just were not listening.

After all: "we are number one." no matter what. And our military power will solve our international "problems," NOT!

11. Not a lot of American get out to see the World,
so it stands to reason that Rambo, Arnold and the macho part of the film industry, as well as right wing media gives them their information about the World.

I thought that we are all God's children. We've been given a lot, but sure lack the humility to use our gifts productively.

13. I know a lot of Americans don't go out and see
the world. But unlike other countries like Cuba for example, we can get news from all over the world. The problem is many Americans don't educate themselves about what goes on in the rest of the world. And we have the means to! Its kind of ironic. So many of us descend from people who themselves were discriminated against when they came to this country. We should be more sensitive than anyone else. Yet the opposite seems to be true. Its so frustrating to see people wanting to watch the WWF on Monday nights or some other mindless program, yet be totally uninterested as to what goes on in the rest of the world.

each of these people, that vote yes, should be given a stick and a hornets nest to poke.

17. CNN should ask if it's OK for militants to target our churches/synagogues
This is why there will never be a U.S.-led peace in the Middle East. Our very presence there is unwanted. We blow up schools and mosques and marketplaces, and kill thousands of innocents.

How many new bin Ladens has this immoral invasion/occupation forged?
