Same sex unions make a mockery of Holy matrimony

To the editor:

When in the course of human events an issue of grave importance cries out to be addressed one cannot forsake his duty to speak out and defend that which he considers to be sacred.

Therefore I am compelled to raise my voice concerning the matter of same sex unions and same sex marriages, which appear to be the order of the day among many who seek to make a mockery of holy matrimony as defined in the Bible. How far down the road of no return has this nation traveled when so many in authority condone that which they well know is in direct conflict of God's word. Surely the gates of Hell have been opened and all its angels have descended upon America but with one mission: To destroy God's word as put forth in the Holy Bible.

How far must we travel down the road to the future before there are calls for marriages between two sisters or two brothers to be acceptable? Do not marvel at these words for we are engaged in a battle with the devil himself and we have no choice but to prevail.

We must not stand idlely by with silent voices as our children are being held hostage to the ways of those who seek to destroy that which is held to be Holy between a man and a woman. We must be aware of the danger that the future holds if we do not right the ship of morality before it sinks into waters of sin from which there will be no survivors. We must anchor our ship upon the rock of God's will where no power can prevail against his Word.

Only a foolish heart will not fear the wrath of the Lord as fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Sadly there are those who will argue that same sex marriage has a place in our society and should be allowed to flourish. To this end I suggest you take your case to the highest court where the Lord sits in judgment and his decision cannot be appealed. All power belongs to Him and we shall be held accountable for our earthly deeds. Be not deceived God is not marked what a man soweth that shall he reap. So it is written so shall it be.
