University of Chicago: ground zero for the neocon movement?
As has already been brought up on another thread, Leo Strauss is considered the founding father of the movement that created the PNAC, and he taught at the University of Chicago and Paul Wolfowitz was a student of his.

But those aren't the only influential right-wingers who went to that school. Milton Friedman and Friedrich Hayek, who are both major figures in the neo-liberal school of economics, both taught there. And John Ashcroft got his law degree from the University of Chicago.

Check out this link to Disinfopedia:

If you scroll down a bit, you'll see a complete list of names of alumni and former/current faculty. A few of them are notable Democrats and liberals, like Jon Corzine and Carol Moseley-Braun, but most of them are basically a Who's Who of the neocon movement.

3. Scroll down even further, and see the link to the Counterpunch
article, "My Alma Mater is a Moral Cesspool," by Boyle.

One of my children works there as a part time librarian in German/foreign language acquisitions. (Her full time job as a musician pays poorly, so far).

She likes working there, but is amazed by the large numbers of Repukes there.

My son's fiance just graduated from there also. She is a progressive, and I don't know how she survived. Many of the teachers are unabashedly neocon.
