3. God's Press Agent Issued a Statement Just a Few Moments Ago
"For the last time, leave me the fuck out of it," God responded to news that he speaks to two-bit Florida weathermen. "And Falwell, Robertson, and that idiot monkey in the White House -- I ain't responsible for that shit, either."

6. How can he say that when 2 hurricanes are baring down on FL?
Reminds me of the worst city disaster from a tornado. It wiped out Salt Lake City a few years back. Why does their God strike such deeply religious places?

Hurricanes have been underestimated before. The rain from the storm will kill more people than the wind.

7. In another breaking news story...
Both storms incredibly only hit Randi Rhodes former radio studio, while missing every other portion of Florida. God said it was a message to liberals everywhere!

11. But I guess God has it in for the places it DOES hit.
Funny how when tornadoes hit and a church is spared, there's so much read into that, but they don't have much to say when the church is hit. Or how about when the church is hit, but someone finds a cross or a bible still intact? It's always a sign from above.

14. There was a tornado a while back that hit a church and killed
Edited on Thu Aug-12-04 09:29 AM by SoCalDem
the woman minister's child..and there was a 60 minute's piece on the "resurrection" of the church a few years later, and that minister actually said that GOD had spared them , in that more people were not killed, and that was a blessing..

I have heard of "turn the other cheek"..but that one took the prize.
