Poll question: Is The Bush Presidency Everything You Thought It Would Be?
(NOTE: This poll question is inspired by--and written in the style of--all those insipid CNN poll questions.)

6. No, I honestly didn't think it would be this bad.
I said to my wife in Jan. 01 " He can't do that much damage in four years" Geez was I wrong.

it's far, far worse than my most dire expectations. I knew it would be bad, but not this bad.

12. No. I knew he was bad,
but I had no idea just how bad he would turn out to be. If I had known, I would never have voted for Nader.

20. Funny you say that
I called another war with iraq 1-2 years into his presidency in december 2000 to my whole family and told them it would start late winter early spring.

Now they all come to me to ask what I think :)

21. I voted No.
On December 13, 2000, when Poppy's bought and paid for Supreme Court handed the election to Junior, I figured the next four years were going to be lousy. But The Shrub has far exceeded even my wildest expectations of awfulness.

22. I voted no because...
... although I imagined *'s rule would be disastrous, I had NO IDEA that four years down the road I'd be understanding how Germans could have supported Hitler, even when they knew about the death camps. This idiot pretender has destroyed our country and our democracy.

23. Worse.
I knew it would be bad, like Poppy's administration, but I never imagined it would sink to the depths of the depravity this administration achieved.

28. And like CNN polls, it's hard to figure out how to answer
The Bush Presidency (no, that's not the right word) ah . . . administration (that's not quite it, either) umm . . . occupancy of the White House (no, too windy) let's see . . . junta (that's the word!) is much worse than I thought it would be.

I thought it would be bad, but it's worse. So does that mean it met my expectations? We'll, golly, I'll just leave it at that and not give a Yes or No answer.
