Fellow ProtestWarriors,

If you are interested in participating in the upcoming Operation Liberty Rising or if you actively use the online HQ, please take note of the following announcements.

We are trying to get an accurate head count for Liberty Rising. So if you are planning to attend the operation on Sunday, please make sure you are signed up on the list. To do this, please go to

If you are planning to attend and you don't see your name in the
alphabetical list of usernames, please click on the "add to list" link. If you will be bringing more people with you who are not HQ members, please ask them to join HQ and then have them add themselves to the attendance list.

For those of you who will be arriving on Sunday, we will be meeting at the ProtestWarrior HQ at 8:00am. The location of the HQ has changed, but it is still walking distance from our assembly area. The HQ address will be posted on the Operation page some time before the Saturday meeting.

For those of you who will be in town earlier, you are invited to attend the HQ meeting on Saturday night at 6:00pm at the HQ, where food and refreshments will be served. To sign up for this, please see new sign-up sheets announcement below.

The operation page now has 6 new sign-up sheets:

1. 8/28 meeting sign-up sheet - for those who plan to attend the
ProtestWarrior HQ meeting on Saturday night.

2. DV Camera sign-up sheet - for those who will be able to bring with them a Digital Video Camera. We will need as many as possible.

3. Camera Op sign-up sheet - for those who want to shoot DV footage for part of the operation.

4. Still Camera sign-up sheet - for those who can bring a digital still camera

5. Interview sign-up sheet - for those who want to be part of the
ProtestWarrior interview team at any time during the operation (Sunday thru Wednesday)

6. The Carpool sign-up sheet is for those who are driving in from out of town who might have room for other ProtestWarriors traveling from the same origin.

Please make sure you sign up today for the lists that pertain to you.

Alan and I will be providing all of the signs for this operation - and we have a slew of brand new patriot truth missiles that we're adding to the arsenal. We even have some new signs that made the final cut from the HQ member submitted sign list - so thanks to all of you who have contributed.
You will be able to pick up your sign Sunday morning.

New HQ features - we have added new functionality to the HQ site (thanks to Azeron, RyanR, and the rest of the HQ dev team).

The new calendar, which you may have already seen, is now up and running.
This has replaced the previous method of viewing the current operations list and will give you a better picture of which operations might be planned for your area. To see this calendar, please go to

Clicking on the name of an operation will take you to that operation's
page.

We now have a distribution list function for the HQ messaging system.
This will allow you to organize the way you send messages to other HQ
members.

You can now create a Contact Pool, which is composed of members of
ProtestWarrior HQ who you have selected to belong to this quick reference list.

You can also create distribution lists which are subset groups composed of members from your Contact Pool, allowing you to email them with a single message.

To get your Contact Pool started, just go to any Chapter's page and click on the link next to the user's name that says "Add Contact". To get your distribution lists started, just click on the messages link on the navigation bar. When you arrive at your inbox, click on the "distribution lists" button. From there enter a name in the field right below the button marked "Create a New List".
