Should AAR & United for Peace and Justice hold a 'virtual rally'.......
.....in Central Park?

United for Peace and Justice has canceled the rally scheduled for the West Side Highway as being un-safe for many people and unfeasible from the standpoint of setting up a quality sound system. Mayor Bloomburg has denied a permit for a protest on the Great Lawn in Central Park. So what can we do?

What could the NYPD do if 250,000 or MORE people all decided to descend on Central Park, (And every other park in NYC for that matter!) for a picnic with their friends and everyone brought along a small portable radio tuned to Air America Radio to listen to speeches and bands for a 'virtual anti Bush* rally?

Any thoughts? :)

1. Deep thinkers!
I've been to concerts and rallies where the NYPD pulled the plug on the sound system but I can't picture them trying to remove the batteries from tens of thousands of radios! :)

:kick:
