But gay or straight, breaking a marital vow is seen as a serious character flaw, and in this case it's double because he's been pretending to be someone that he is not.
If anything this shows that the democratic way, embracing gay people who are OUT and PROUD is better than the REPUKE way, forcing them into loveless marriages and keeping them in the closet.
Too bad that a democrat would choose to structure his personal life in the REPUKE way in the year 2004. We have a long way to go.
MSNBC also mentions that SF's gay marriages have been voided by the court...
