My personal EMAIL TO GOVERNOR McGreevey
Edited on Thu Aug-12-04 05:36 PM by tnhatesbush
I am truly moved by the act of courage I witnessed on television today. You made the most "relevant" speech I have ever been presented with. You, Mr. McGreevey are a true American Patriot. In a time in America when we are subjected to such vial politics, today I witnessed a man who deserves to be treated with the upmost respect. It took a brave man to stand up in front of the world and tell everyone who he is. Mr. McGreevey, you have made me proud to be a GAY AMERICAN!!! I wish you all the best!!!

1. Speaking for all men who have hired their unqualified lovers to cushy jobs
I couldn't agree more.

I long to live in an America where I can hire any 20-year-old blonde with implants and a penchant for public sex, to be the Chief Financial Officer of a Fortune 500 company that I run.

I long for a day when anyone can have a nooner on their beautiful oak desk with their personal gigolo and face no ramifications.

Someday, we will have that America.

If your were the CFO of a F500 company, you would know that!

3. Fair point
Maybe that's why I am not climbing the corporate ladder fast enough.

sleeping my way to the top, too. Turns out you're supposed to sleep WITH someone. I was just taking a lot of naps at my desk.

12. I can't disagree with you more. He was forced to resign and
its unforgivable he lied to his wife about his sexuality.

13. I really admire McGreevy for what he did to his family
he hid a terrible secret from them as long as he could. Now that's a real American.

Why should he care about his wife and children when there are better things to "do"...

What a man!

16. I don't think it's very funny that you've started all of these posts about
McGreevey, and how much you love him, etc. Are you trying to push a wedge issue to the extreme?

17. You have really got to be kidding me . . .
McGreevey's performance today was one of the most insulting things I've ever seen.

This is a governor whose political future has been collapsing around him, due to the numerous scandals that reached all the way to the top of the executive offices of New Jersey.

For him to come out today and use his homosexuality to hide the real reasons for his departure from public office is f#cking disgraceful -- and an insult to all those homosexuals in this country who live their lives without the ethical and legal baggage that McGreevey has carried with him for years.
