Help a family hurt by Bush outsourcing
Edited on Thu Aug-12-04 05:46 PM by wyethwire
In South Carolina, we have lost more than 70,000 jobs in the last three years. We've lost 50,000 jobs in the textile industry since 1997.

Just like the Bush administration economist Greg Mankiw, GOP Senate candidate Jim DeMint is claiming that "globalization is better economic policy" and "just because a company is outsourcing doesn't mean that it's not helping workers."

Jim Demint has OUTSOURCED the production of his own campaign t-shirts to a sweatshop in Honduras.

The South Carolina Democratic Party is raising funds for a textile family that has been displaced by Bush outsourcing.

The t-shirt reads "Jim Demint sent my job to Honduras and all I got was this lousy t-shirt"

Click here to bid on the shirt.
