F**K CNN!
Edited on Thu Aug-12-04 09:42 PM by nu_duer
Just saw the start of the "whip" -

the second story, after McGreevy(SP?), was cheney's slime. CNN said something like "cheney says that we don't need to treat terrorists sensitively."

TREAT TERRORISTS SENSITVELY????!!!!

Even a thinking freeper (if there is such a thing) would know that in no way, IN NO WAY, would Kerry suggest we treat terrorists sensitively.

CNN didn't mention a rebuttal by Kerry/Edwards or anyone else. They just repeated the charge, the slanderous charge, by cheney.

CNN can go to hell, effin' faux wannabe.

You'd think helping kill a few thousand people via the invasion of Iraq would be enough for these traitors.

1. You know I respect Faux........
more than CNN cause at least you know what you're gonna hear and see at Faux. CNN and MSNBC just try to disguise it and suck you in.

Let me say this though: I DO NOT RESPECT any of them. That was an error above. But I DO know what to expect at Faux. They say something, I know it's the opposite of what they just said. :-)

2. I'd rather we treat prisoners
"sensitively" than torture them.

3. In CNN's defense...
...Anderson Cooper played a tape of Bush using the phrase "sensitive" in the same manner that Kerry did.

But that's Cooper's show. Whoring the rest of the time.

5. Yes, well into the show, he did play bush saying much the same thing
Which, as it turned out, came just before a glowing appraisal of bush on LKL.

What I was referring to, and posted right after it happened, was the "whip" portion, at the very begining of the show. In that intro to the show, after which I'm sure many viewers begin to surf, they only reported on cheney's misleading charge.

That's what I saw, anyway.

4. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard
I mean politics can get pretty petty but good god this is so fucking childish! Are people really taking this shit seriously? Cheney and Bush sound like a couple of idiot 10 year olds. It's pathetic.

I understand Kerry not wanting to stoop to their level but he has to say just how outrageously stupid these people are. Just that might put an end to it. To not respond at all looks weak. They have to learn that. How many times can they make the same mistake?

6. This "sensitivity" thing will be to Kerry what "inventing the internet"
was with Gore. The Rovebots at CNN have calculated how far they can push this with no one calling them on it.

9. Earlier they played Bush's "sensitive" clip
After repeating Cheney's ridiculous assertions. I guess some exec sw the coverage this afternoon and had the talking point altered.

11. Kerry campaign needs to respond to mud-slinging
just like they did with "turning the corner". Mock them, show them up for the hypocrites they are. Look how fast Bush stopped using that phrase in his speeches. It's not pretty, but I'm afraid we have to play their game this time.
