28. Poor guy. Not everyone can speak fluent English in front of TV cameras
I thought that this was the low point of the show.

The juxtaposition of Cheney mocking the term "sensitivity" and Bush using it was great. Also his comment to Bush that Cheney called him P****y..

5. Does anybody get the sense
that Jon is one PISSED OFF fake newsman? He is on a tear tonight - more truth in five minutes than on any 24/7 BS network.

Maybe it's time to stop referring to Jon Stewart as a 'fake newsman' cuz he delivers the news with humor.

It may be about time to start calling it like it is, he does a lot more news reporting than the so called mainstream press.

25. You don't really get more news,
but with Jon you get more STRAIGHT DOPE because he cuts through the bullshit. You get more TRUTH. *That's* what the mainstream press isn't doing.

6. Bush: "We need to be more sensitive on that."
WHY can't the mainstream media point that out instead of playing in to Cheney's snarky game?!?!?!? Why does it take a FAKE news program?

26. Compare the CNN reporter covering the Kerry campaign,
reporting in to Newsnight. He says Kerry got pulled off-message by Cheney's "sensitive" attack, and then proceeds to not report Kerry's message but the Cheney attack. Suckered again.

Tonight's Daily Show was one of Jon's best. I do want to note, though, that the al Jazeera reporter part wasn't SO funny. After all, he was speaking in a foreign language that people were probably not encouraged to learn in Iraq until recently. (I tend to be sympathetic with non-native speakers since I was one myself when I lived abroad.)

10. Oh man. Cheney criticized Kerry for using "sensitive"
Then they showed the footage of bush speaking to the very same audience. And he was caught saying, you guessed it- "sensitive".

Yuck. didn't explain that too well, but time's up. Gotta go back.

Cheney, you suck!

11. Jon cut straight through the bull
And got to the heart of the "sensitive" crap. Showed a clip, at the exact same forum, with Bush using the same language.

Now I'd really like to get this book! This has got to stop!

20. I live in North Georgia! Do you really believe they'd have it there?
Sure, they have some , but the answer you get on most of the time on say, Bill Clintons book, is we have a budget and can't buy EVERY BOOK out there.
