Iraq minister denies reports that al-Sadr hurt in Najaf

By News Agencies

Radical Shi'ite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr was wounded in clashes in the Iraqi city of Najaf, his spokesman said Friday. However, Iraq's Interior Minister Falah al-Naqib later said al-Sadr was unhurt and was negotiating with the government to leave the Imam Ali shrine in Najaf.

1. Probably trying to stop the explosion when the Iraqis that will occur if
al Sadr dies. Then they'll have two martyred Shi'ite saint to bury in the mosque, and an uprising that will bring down the faux government.

Regardless, this situation is lose/lose for the US and the puppet government. He lives, he leads the rebellion. He dies, the rebellion carries on his his name.
