Republicans won't release convention delegate names. (DNC)

1. This was a story a week or so ago

they're concerned about their "privacy", the bunch of wusses.

The DNC delegate names were all released and made public record. Reason being that the delegates all represent constituencies. That's transparency. However, since the GOP doesn't believe in open and transparent democracy, they would rather the delegates remain secret.

As a DNC delegate, my name was published. Yes, I got phone calls from the media and others and tons of email and snail mail, but that goes with the territory. To date, I've had no terrorists trying to kidnap me either.
