Usually it's the media that sets the bar low enough for dumbya to barely stumble over so that he exceeds expectations. This time, it appears he's setting it low for himself.

I am not sure which America he's talking about would be better off -- it's not the America I believe in or want my children to grow up in. Perhaps he's talking about right-wing neo-conservative America?

We can't even guess by what he says or by the expressions on his face what that world is like.If it's like the one he's leaving America with; it's petty, scarred, bullying, narrow minded, egotistical, where our future is fine if you are already well off, or adventurous if you have the foolhardiness to join in a war to " protect our way of life ".A simple minded society where we all do what's right for God and County.In my opinion, too childlike for any federal government.
The America I want to be left with is a "Commonwealth of Minds" compassionate ideology, passionate progressive works in health care, world cultural understanding, national awareness of energy consumption and renewable energy facilitation . Kerry's America should move us in that direction.A place where keeping the peace is fought so smartly that innocents are not killed or made to kill.
