Once in a while I check out some of the postings (havn't gotten the balls to sign up yet though) over there. I've noticed that they seem to becoming very fragmented. In the past, when someone would "step out of line" there was a ground swell of indignation, and the same when one of their own was in trouble, the entire Freeper Kingdom would come to their unquestioning aid. Lately though (and no offense meant here) they seem to be more like us Democrats pre-Shrubya. We all had our own issues and thought they were the most important, and we weren't really solidly behind any Democrat that stumbled.

I think the Repugs are cracking... I think the influence of the Neo-Cons and The Religious Right on the Republicans is starting to take it's toll. Time was the Neo-Cons and RR were in lockstep, and the traditional Repugs were left holding thier asses. Not so now... The RR has some real problems with the Neo-Cons, and vice-versa.

I also think that we have a solid obligation to insure that this division continue and grow!
