Just down the road....
It would appear that the Pretzeldent is speaking at a highschool just 3 short blocks from my apartment.

I would go down and protest, but I have to get my son back to his mother out on the coast. They shut down one of the main thoroughfares, and one of the busiest streets in the town. If any of you folks live/work near Beaverton... it's Scholl's Ferry, and also 125th.

I noted on my way through before he arrived that the area across the road from the school has been fenced off, apparently for the use of protesters. There were a few people there when I went by, I wasn't able to drive by more recently to see how many folks there are now.

My understanding that this is for small business owners, etc. Likely a fundraiser.

He's on the local channel KATU, Channel 2 in the Portland area.

Just caught something about capping medical liability before he started talking about jobs.

Talking with some of the local business folks.

Resounding applause from the audience....
