John Kerry should sue SVFT for defimation of character, slander,and libel

These people have been outright lying about John Kerry's war record for the past several weeks. They pulled out a doctor who claimed to have worked on one of John Kerry's wounds but lied. They also claimed to have men who worked with Kerry when he got his medals, but they lied. They lied when they claimed Kerry wasn't under fire when he earned his bronze star. John O'niell yeasterday claimed Kerry only served 5 weeks on the USS Gridley, when he served over a year on that ship with more than 5 months of that spent on the coast of Vietnam. That means Kerry spent at least 9 months in combat duty in Vietnam, further exposing their lie that John Kerry was a coward who fled Vietnam prematurely. John O'niell has a verifiable record of harrassing John Kerry going back to the Nixon administration, and has donated thousands of dollars to the Repug machine, despite his laughable claims of being non-partisan. Corsi's unfortunate track record of public idiocy at everybody's favorite website has been recorded for prosperity. Several of the people who are now accusing him of cowardice supported him less than a decade ago, some one has been paying people off. These men have accused John Kerry of both cowardice and treason, neither of which is true.

Which unfortunately won't matter to the courts. The precedents are clear, even though we have enough evidence to prove wrong doing on their part I'm not expecting to win this case. But it will give us a chance to air our grievances, and given how much the media loves courtroom drama they might actually cover them. Also, in the judgement the courts usually have findings of facts where they talk about the merits of each side. While they will probably rule against us, they will also probably dismiss the Swift Vets group's claims as wholey without merit as well. Plus, it would cost the group a great deal of money and time, and since they have less than a million dollars in fund raising, it would limit their ability to run these outragously false ads.
