Bush 'to move 100,000 troops'
http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,5478,10439455%255E1702,00.html

These guys have screwed the pooch.

This is the biggest US troop reassignment since World War II.

The Bushies are having to pull troops from Europe and North Korea because of their screw-up in Iraq.

They are screwing up the war on terror like no one could have imagined.

The National Guard is all but tapped out, they have even called up military personnel that have been in retirement.

A few weeks ago, a Guard unit in my hometown shipped out a 68 year old man to Iraq!

Lord knows what we will do if something breaks out in Korea after Bush pulling troops and sending them to his disaster in Iraq.

And what about Afghanistan and Pakistan?

Not to mention so many hot spots in the world, with wars and/or Al Queada attacks.

Ohh, and I hope they don’t need the National Guard to help with the Florida hurricane, because Bush did the same thing with them he did with the budget surplus...

Right down the Bush toilet.

2. Question ...

When you say 'your age' does that mean they were young, old?

Middle aged?

Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, et al.

We could organize one heck of a sendoff party!

10. So it was 40 and 50 year olds sent to Iraq from your town

I agree, that’s too old. Or really you could say 'not young enough'.

We should have the best fighting force possible, and much like athletic competition would be somewhere in your 20's, to possibly in your early 30's.

To give a hypothetical, if Japan and Germany invaded America we should have our youngest and strongest fight.

Then if we start losing and run out of troops, we should sign up the 40 and 50 year olds.

After that, its either surrender or everyone for themselves.

Bush is sending 40 and 50 year olds from your town, Bush has sent a 68 year old man from my town, Bush is pulling 100's of thousands of troops from Korea and all over the world.

George Bush is the biggest 'war president' disaster the US has ever seen.

George Bush is also the biggest economic deficit disaster the US has ever seen.

3. ...............but this is WONDERFUL news!!!!!!...............
because he's doing such a fabulous job of being A WAR PREZNIT! Let's take those silly troops doing nothing useful in Europe and send them off to die, maybe in Iran, maybe in Korea, what the heck. Maybe we can start a war in Peru for good measure!!!!

4. Buxh is tired of protecting France from the Ruskies.....
He's gonna transfer the Western European troops to "Asia", where the third branch of Axis live.

In other words: We're stretched as thin as an O'Reilly haircut.

5. We should be getting out of Europe shouldn't we?
The troops were there to protect Europe from the Commies.

They ain't coming.

There's no reason for us to have troops in places like Germany anymore.

Also, if we do have troops in North Korea, I hope we get them out safely before the North Koreans notice them.

6. Should we have troops available for Florida?

I understand that 'Old Europe' means nothing to the US with the Bushies in power.

Korea, maybe. But Bush is pulling troops from there too.

They have screwed it up so bad, we don’t even have any troops left for Florida.

12. 100,000 troops is an invasion force. Hmm...
You don't move 100,000 troops unless you are gearing up for something big.

13. Anyone notice we're creeping closer to the Russian border?
What's the point of positioning troops in EASTERN Europe? Russia isn't taking too kindly to our troops being so close to their border....who can blame them for feeling uncomfy with that situation?

are a lot cheaper than Germany.

I really don't think we'll be driving across the steppes anytime soon.

16. link this to the increased chatter
about Iran and their proto-nuclear capabilities. There is/was another thread talking about that, people on it were saying, naw, couldn't happen there's no troops to invade Iran with.
