Jeb Bush Administration gets an "F" for Charley Preperation
Signficant loss of life in storm. Bodies piling up at mobile home parks.

People told to evacuate in the wrong direction.

FIRE JEB AND HIS BROTHER.

1. with fed relief $$ coming, FL folks need to watch Jeb & cronies 24/7
to make sure that money does what it is supposed to instead of being diverted to pay for political favors.

3. Not so worried they won't get relief $.
More concerned that Jeb and his brother will turn it into a political event to sway support in the election.

That having been said, I hope those communities can recover from this horrible disaster.

2. Be fair, it's all we've got in the end
Did you not see the radar pictures of Charlie taking an UNPREDICTED right turn?

There are plenty of other legitimate reasons to fire Jeb....and his brother.

5. I agree.

With all the radar, satellite and other sources we have today, its still impossible to exactly predict what a storm can do. They can and sometimes do move out of the predicted path at the last minute.

4. Wheres our National Guard....oh.......not here
I wish one of my neighbors would ask him where the hell the guard is. We are asking for volunteers to help down help.....the area is a mess and our guard is over in Iraq.......helping the Iraqis but not helping its own CITIZENS.........yes I am pissed to all hell.

My county Pinellas was evacuated Friday night.(I lived in E zone) and stayed.....my friends moved inward to Orlando.Polk county..they headed right for the path of the storm.......

What pisses me off.is they stated Charlie is coming in like Donna did.......well damn it.Donna came in at Fort Meyers and crossed over the state to Daytona..........these inland areas should have had the same warning we had to get the hell out.....

Like I said.photo op my ass......

6. If this is a problem, we'll know in the coming days - if looters descend..
on the damaged areas and people break out guns to defend their property.

7. Facts of Florida Living ....
...there will be storms

...storms are not predictable

...you are responsible for your own sorry butt

...I don't expect my governor to be a meteorologist (not that they weren't all fooled too.)

Until 1pm yesterday my house was under the dead center of the predicted track and 15 miles from the coast. The plywood was ready and the dry good stored.

8. I heard the dumb ass say earlier this week that moving inland
about 10 miles was enough. Who the fuck did he have advising him? I live 70 miles away from Myrtle Beach and approximately 80-90 miles away from Charleston and I can tell you that the damage in South Carolina from Hurricane Hugo in 1989 was almost statewide and very extensive! Hell, this thing went on up to Charlotte and kicked it's ass--from there I don't know what happened because we were without power or media outlets for days afterwards. Some folks didn't have power for up to a month after Hugo. That's what a Cat 4 storm will do and Charley was larger than Hugo. What a dumb ass! But then again, he's *'s brother--what do you expect????? Now they've got a state official on MSNBC saying that they were prepared, that they knew where it was going, that they knew it was going to strengthen and patting themselves on the back for their efforts to evacuate folks. Too bad it was in the wrong damn direction!!!

9. Depending on how this is handled and
so far, HUGE errors have caused many deaths, this can ruin political careers.

From a Chicago snow storm...
The city's delay in plowing away the 1979 snowfall was blamed for Jane Byrne's upset victory over incumbent Mayor Michael Bilandic in the Democratic primary.

For Florida, the weather people will be blamed for all the errors. The aftermath/clean-up will determine whether Jebbie survives. I'm sure his brother will throw as many $$$$ as needed at FL to save his ass.

12. Lots of Folks talk about
getting rid of Jeb. Don't waste the energy. He's in his second term and then is limited out. With a Rebulican State House & Senate, nobody is going to remove him. His daughter & wife have assured he can't go national - he might run for senator one day, but he's no Bob Graham so election is not insured.

10. True Americans don't blame their leaders for the weather
they blame them for things like striking black people from the voting rolls

13. Deaths in mobile home parks?
You think Jebbie and any member of his cabinet and family give a shit about people in trailers or mobile homes or other such areas? They couldn´t care less and it doesn´t matter to them if those people get evacuated or not.
