BUSH GOING TO Florida because of storm disaster...TAKING RESOURCES AWAY
and disrupting search and rescue operations to protect his sorry ass during what really is a "campaign trip" (he is USING Florida for his campaign!

This is a very true statement that should be highlighted!

1. and WE will PAY for this
you can bet your mother on that.

a 'dream' statement from Kerry:

While John and I are deeply concerned about the citizens of Florida, rescue and recovery efforts would be distracted by making our an appearance there so soon after this tragedy.

Edited on Sat Aug-14-04 11:15 AM by buddyhollysghost
It's like he's visiting his brother's plantation or something. And he will justify disrupting the lives of people already traumatized and without resources by saying the terrorists were following him there and Homeland Security and All Hail the Commander In Chief Bullsh*t.

PLEASE!!!

FOUR MORE YEARS OF THIS?

2. CNN saidl little bush never attends...
such disasters except for the 911 photo op. They added, bush knows his polls are low in Florida. Another rich bastard taking advantage of the pain and loss of poor citizens.

3. If he didn't go, people would be screaming just as loudly

I can't fault him for this. Regardless of how we feel about him he is the President and this is what Presidents do.

I still detest him and his smirky face!

edited: After reading Post #2, nevermind! :) Guess he doesn't do this sort of thing.

4. He COULD state the fact that he DOES NOT WANT to hurt the CLEANUP
efforts by spending all the money that should go to the disaster effort. This is what a real president would do.

7. It may backfire on him
I was listening to the idiot media this AM and they keep stressing "these people in trailer parks didn't evacuate" bla bla that have been killed (then they grimace as if to say what a bunch of losers)

It occurred to me that maybe "those people" didn't have any money to gas up and get the hell out of dodge until pay day?

If you don't have any cash until payday and the Hurricane is supposed to hit on Friday afternoon where the hell would that leave a person that isn't rolling in the $$$.

The minute they rolled out one of the Jebsters emergency management people this AM the guy started the all things bold and bush spin.

BTW where the hell is the national guard? That storm hit yesterday at what? Four PM? As of 10 AM this morning I still didn't see any guard units doing anything on TV.
