Rantings of the Insane, Ignorant, Misinformed, Evil RIGHT WING...
http://rightnation.us/

^reading the blog on the front page of this site was enough to make me want to crawl out of my skin with pure mind-bogglement!

to quote a few of their best lines:

"Fashion Tip #27 - Pedophilia Is The New Homosexuality

Is it just me, or has the media lost its collective mind while covering pedophile Mary Kay Letourneau’s release from prison? What in God’s name is all this romanticized nonsense I’m seeing on Fox News of all places about how Letourneau has “been through a great deal” and “just wants to raise her children and lead a normal life?” Are you kidding me? Normal life? Uh, lady, you kinda missed that opportunity when you decided to start copulating with elementary school children! There’s nothing “normal” there! I can’t for the life of me understand why the media is so supportive of this criminal.

Are any of these talking heads thinking for a minute about the kind of message they are sending to pedophiles throughout the country? Kiddie-lovers everywhere now have hope for acceptance in society. Yeah, you might go to jail for a couple years. But you can still live “happily ever after” with the youthful object of your sick obsession once you’re released. Not a bad deal, huh?"

"Are We Safer Than A Year Ago? Hell Yes!

Among the numerous vindictive lies going around in the liberal world currently is the whopper that the Iraqi war hasn't made us any safer at home. And a good lie can reel 'em in, as the latest Gallup Poll shows that 55% of those polled believe the world is "more dangerous" while only 38% rack up a "safer" response (though when you think about it, this doesn't actually directly address the question "do you feel safer?").

Well, put me in that 38%. Unquestioningly."

"When Did the Media Turn on Us?

I know that as far back as the 1920's, some American journalists were writing glowing reports about the Stalinist Soviet Union while scores of Soviet citizens were dying of starvation. But during World War II and Korea, our press corps actually seemed to want us to win. When did this change? Was it the Vietnam War and the lies told by our government? Was it Watergate? Or maybe the media hasn't really turned on America, just conservative America.

In my opinion, the media turned on us when we turned on communism."

1. "The media turned on us when we turned on communism."
Let's see, that's probably a reference to McCarthyism. And yeah, I think there are some old geezers in the media who are still pissed off about that. Media types suffered more than most. The lingering smell of McCarthyism may also be one reason that Hollywood tends to be liberal. I just wish more people remembered it, and could see the parallels in the Bush administration's determination to drape itself in the flag and question the patriotism of its critics.
