Assuming Kerry wins in November

I am pondering the inauguration.

Given Shrub's well established history for petulance, I am wondering how he will behave turning over the government.

Does anyone recall stories of his father's behavior when Clinton took over ?

3. Daddy Bush is very much a stiff upper lip
kind of a guy. He does not get emotional. * is very different---I have read that he is more like his mother in temperament--I hear she is a real witch!

8. hee hee hee--actually--
I like to use the term "gritch"--a combination of grouchy and bitchy. Also brings to mind the Grinch--one of the great characters of all time!

2. I remember President Clinton's inauguration in 1992
IIRC The outgoing and incoming presidents stay in the same "holding" room in the Capitol building until they are seated for the inauguration. That year, poppy bush asked for separate rooms. I don't know why I remember that, I just do. :-)

4. I am not going to talk about this--because

it was very very crude--but if you review the tape of Clinton at Blair House --you will understand why Clinton may not have been happy that day.

7. I was listening to the inauguration on the
radio--I have never heard it covered since.

Try some radio stations (all news) who covered the inauguration--I am sure someone still has the tape.

10. They were taped at Blair house and coming over for the

ceremony before they got with the Bushes--we listened as a family and we were horrified that the reporters and media were presenting the incoming president that way.

This would not have been part of the televised ceremony--they did not have tv cameras on him. It was an hour or so before the ceremony, while he was just miked up for sound--and sitting around Blair house chatting with the reporters while he waited to go over for the ceremony.

I'm sure someone must have listened to the radio--and remembers the disgraceful way the media acted.
