Question: Why would Tampa wait until today to send its Natl Guard
to South Florida? Shouldn't it have gone yesterday? It is an honest question about timing.

The head of the Florida Natl Guard said that about only a thousand from Florida are in Iraq, another thousand in Enduring Freedom...is that Afghanistan? So he has 8000 available here, I think he said. Two thousand are out helping now, more later.

Just wondering if that is typical.

3. And hubby just heard that they are NOW going to activate more.
Why didn't they do it yesterday? I am wondering how much the privatization is into the domestic area of the National Guard now.

4. Harris would send them to Indiana to protect a power grid
from an imminent turrist attack that only she knows about. This is based on inside info that she got from Nancy's astrologers.

5. In South Louisiana
When Hurricane Lilly hit us directly recently the scenario went like this: Lilly raged on top of us one day, the evacuatees returned the next day, and the Nat'l Guard arrived the 3rd day. I don't know why there is a day's delay. And, let me tell you, unless you live thru it, you can't know the relief and the absolute joy in seeing them roll into town. I don't think I will ever "put down" the Nat'l Guard or the Red Cross ever again.
