Bush people have been shooting the poor people who are trying to vote for Chavez. But Chavez has the support of 70% of the people. If Choicepoint could turn that into a loss, then Kerry doesn't have a chance in November - with all the electronic voting.

3. Wait, wait, wait---
First of all, how do you know that "Bush people" are responsible for those shootings?

Secondly, I had no idea that Venezuela was using touch screens--do you have any verification of that as a fact?

4. Its logical to assume they are "Bush people".....
ChimpCo Inc. supports the opposition. They managed to overthrow the Democratic government in Haiti, installing drug runners and murderers (birds of a feather), and they have the same plans for Venezuela. If necessary, U. S. Marines will be sent to help prop up the opposition thugs.

Thats the way it works.

5. Yeah, I know about Haiti.
But I had no idea that Venezuela was using touchscreens. Are they nuts? Who would use our touchscreens?

Is this going to turn into a scandal for the U.S.?

8. Hate to say it,
this has been going on for a long, long time in South America....whenever the U.S. corporations feel threatened by a government they consider "hostile" to their interest, then you can almost count on a coup. Henry Kissinger did this in Chile when Allende was elected. It will continue until the corps no longer hold sway over the US government.

9. Several things wrong with your premise.......
.....the biggest of all is Choicepoint having anything to do with the touch screens!

Unlike the machines that will be used here, the touch screens used in Venezuela have a 'paper trail' in the form of a voter verifiable printed ballot for every vote cast. :)

Funny thing is that the original system that was recommended by the U.S. State Department for use down there was manufactured by ES&S (Election Systems & Software) and it FAILED MISERABLY!

Scroll midway down the page.

Caracas, Venezuela:
Venezuela's highest court suspended elections because of problems with the vote tabulation. Venezuela sent an air force jet to Omaha to fetch computers and experts in a last-ditch effort to fix the problem before the delay was ordered. Dozens of protesters chanted "Gringos get out!" at ES&S technicians. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who U.S. officials would very much like to see unseated, accused ES&S of trying to destabilize the country's electoral process. Chavez also asked for help from the U.S. government because, he said, the United States recommended ES&S.
