9. It's painful to watch this ... it took place 19 months after I got back.

I'd finally recovered pretty much and was getting my life back together, so I avoided damned near anything that reminded me of 'Nam. I'd finally 'gotten over' the end of my war marriage and had met my next ex-wife. (sigh)

O'Neill is an unmitigated pissant. He typifies the attitudes that put us in that quagmire. He's so fucking arrogant, I'd like to break his damned jaw.
