1. Remember, African women
When your abusive, philandering husband wants to have sex with you after he's infected with AIDS, just say "no!"

There's that "compassionate conservatism" again.

4. *shrugs* Neither of my BILs look old enough to shave and both have been
there and back. One's 24, the other's 28.

The attitude's pretty accurate for a young and dumb never-been.

5. Here's his letter...
http://www.sugarraydodge.com/iraqletter.html

He has lived most of his life in Utah (IE totally out of touch with reality), and has now flung himself into Bush's Sandbox of Horrors®. I hope he learns a thing or two about war while he's there.

But sadly, there are thousands of Vietnam vets who still cling to the notion that "we shoulda won". Some people never, ever, ever get it.

6. Also, he links to O'Neill's lie-book about Kerry being unfit for command..
...as well as Tommy Franks' book. Tommy Franks was recently quoted as saying...

Retired Gen. Tommy Franks, producer of the early military successes in Afghanistan and Iraq, said Sunday that criticism of John Kerry's war record is political hyperbole and Kerry is "absolutely" qualified to be commander in chief.

10. Udo, you're making your own point.
He's young, dumb, out of touch and brainwashed.

I don't know how to teach them to think. I wish I did.

8. Remember the next-door neighbor in "American Beauty"?
Edited on Mon Aug-16-04 01:39 AM by UdoKier
"Sugar Ray" or whatever his name is, is apparently that guy, in his youth.

http://www.sugarraydodge.com/commentary/classic/physicallystrong.html

We, as a society, have grown way too tolerant of the homosexual lifestyle.
Young boys walk around High Schools holding hands and kissing and the
other students just walk on by as if it is totally normal.  What happened to the
days when they would get the holy crap beaten out of them for this behavior?
This is just another example of Hollywood and the leftist leadership
influencing young minds into thinking that it is okay to be gay and to just
ignore the obvious repercussions it brings.

Young boys are lead (sic) to believe that this is a “natural feeling” they have and
that they are “born with it and can’t change it, so why not be happy.” There is
no evidence that there is a so-called “homosexual gene.”  Therefore you
cannot accuse me of being a racist, because homosexuality is not a race.
The fact of the matter is that homosexuality is a trait that is learned.  It is
taught through television, sex education courses, and above all else, street
talk.  Young men and women hear this stuff and think to themselves “Hmmm, I
wonder if doing that would give me some sort of sexual rush?”  So they make
a choice to experiment and are eventually sucked into the dark and ugly world
of homosexuality and all of its consequences.   So, you are not born a
homosexual, you make a choice to be a homosexual.

Homosexual marriage and adoption are bad ideas as well.  If gay adoption is
allowed, it will only continue to imbed the image of acceptable homosexuality
in Americana.  Can you imagine every three houses down your street being
inhabited by a family where both parents are male?  I would not want my kids
growing up in a neighborhood like that.  Think about the children of that
family.  What kind of warped ideas and beliefs will they grow up with?  It
boggles the mind.

Believe it or not, gays in the boy scouts, gays in the military, gay marriage
and gay adoption are all signs of the end of days.

Hopefully this guy will outgrow this nonsense someday. Otherwise, he is going to grow up to be a real basket case. EVEN RUSH LIMBAUGH as much as said on the radio the other day that gays should not have to live a lie. That they should be able to be who they ARE. EVEN LIMBAUGH! This guy is loony fringe, big time.

9. He's a product of his religion (Mormon), unfortunately.
Edited on Mon Aug-16-04 02:09 AM by Ruffhowse
They crank out a lot of warped individuals through what can only be called brainwashing techniques from an early age on. Read up on all the Mormon "secrets" sometime and get a real feel what this religion is about. Cult, cult, cult.

13. Boy, this young man really has it all figured out doesn't he?
He is just wise beyond his years and knows more than the "liberal media" and every other Satanic influence out there.

We had a few idiots like him at my high school. Fortunately it was in a liberal area so they were the extreme minority, and they were often made fun of. I'm guessing where he lives, that's not quite the case.

It is pointless arguing with them. The only thing that will ever change them is life. Maybe he'll come home from Iraq with a nice plastic limb and it'll cause him to ask a few questions for the first time. I'm not wishing that on him, but it seriously would take something like that to change him. These people are a cult. Single minded, irrational, and yes, even dangerous under certain circumstances.

14. Even in a conservative area, he's probably not too popular.
People who act self-righteous and pontificate about politics too much are usually not too popular, especially among young folks who just want to have a good time.
