I want to share something with all of you. I have been 'email fighting' with relatives/friends over Kerry and *. Surprise! LOL. I know a lot of you from DU have been doing that as well. I get SO tired of reading the crap that is sent to me. Then I have to find proper 'ammo' to send back to 'them' to try and educate those poor, feeble minded repubs.

A few weeks ago, while reading the cartoon thread, I thought, 'why not send the cartoons?' Not all of them. Just the one's I know will hit home runs for OUR side. So I've been doing that. And guess what? The 'crap' email is slowly disappearing. I'm guessing that when I send long emails, trying to explain something to my relatives/friends, a lot of times those emails get deleted. They don't want to know the truth. BUT, when I send a comic, hey, they've seen it before they even have a chance to think about deleting it and the idea has been planted! :evilgrin: These comics are a very effective way to get a point across to some very closed minds.
I love that it's so simple to do and that I'm able to send 'ammo' that really works.

So again, nostamj, thank you! Your efforts are so very appreciated. :)

Does anyone want to bother explainging the Cagle 'toon to me? Where Uncle Sam is tippy-toeing among the holy places? I mean, I understand the reference, but what is Cagle trying to say? (I hate being dense, but...) Also, I can't figure out what he's holding in his right hand--maybe that would help?
