There's only one thing that scares me

besides wasps.

And that is the increasing hostility, hatred and violence towards America around the world.

I was looking at some news photos on Yahoo and reading some stories and it seems there was a huge anti-American rally in Seoul, South Korea yesterday. Then I saw more photos of marches, American flag burning, etc.

I know there has ALWAYS been some element of anti-Americanism in the world, of course.

But it seems to be far, far worse than I ever remember it being before.

Then I think about bush and all he has done to fan those flames and some really bad words pop into my head. I am no prude about cussing, but I won't even type them here. I am sick to my stomach when I think of what he has done "for" us in the world. It makes me want to scream, cry, vomit, and if you knew me in real life, you'd know how much I am NOT a drama queen.

What to do, what to do? What happens after Kerry is elected? Is he going to have to spend most of his first year in office doing some serious diplomatic work with other countries just to try to repair some of this?????

PNAC sucks pond scum. Do none of those idiots even realize we all live on the same big ball of rock and we should at least ATTEMPT to be civil with each other????

1. I think the world will AUTOMATICALLY like us better when Kerry wins
but, yeah, alot of diplomacy will be needed. Which is why Clinton ought to be named Mideast Envoy. They like and respect him, and he's SMART.

2. Good idea
I hadn't heard that one before. I also like the idea of Howard Dean as either Secretary of Health and Human Services or head of the DNC (which ain't happening, so I'll take Sec. of HHS).

10. Remember "which foreign leaders" flap?
Digging at Kerry to name names when it was said that many foreign leaders would like to see Kerry win?

The correct answer was, of course:
ALL OF THEM

5. They don't hate AMERICA, they hate BUSH.. You must disassociate yourself
from the deeds of the bush regime and make it clear that he does NOT represent AMERICA.

bush represents HALLIBURTON.

6. I don't know
I mean a president represents that country, doesn't he?

And they weren't burning and tearing apart a picture of bush but the American flag.

I hope it is true that it will get better when Kerry takes office. I'm just pissed off beyond belief at what bush has done.

7. I am on another forum where the majority of posters
are from other countries. None of them have anything against Americans, but none of them like Bush.

8. I just returned from overseas, and they mainly feel sorry for us
Europeans at least take it for granted that the election was stolen, and that Georgie is not doing things the way a real American would.

I did not encounter any *personal* animosity at all.
