Protest Walk from PA to convention by my friend.
I have a good friend who is engaged in a walk from the Liberty Bell
in PA to the republican convention in NY. She left PA yesterday and
plans to arrive in NY the opening day of the convention.

This walk is a spiritually centered protest. She calling for a
return of the rights and protections guaranteed us under the constitution. She is also asking that each of us seek to serve our
world in whatever positive way we are led to do so.

I have spoken to her many times over the last two years and can attest
to her sense of grief over the direction this country is taking. She
feels that this walk to something she must do. I was wondering if you
could visit her web site and send her some words of support if you
her walk appeals to you.

Her web site is at: http://www.blessgodamerica.net

Thanks. Old Broad

3. She is 63 years old
and says was inspired by Granny D. I hope she makes it. I am
up at Saratoga working till 9/6, but she said she has some people
already joining her on the walk. She said that so far most of the
response from those she sees are very positive and supportive.

SHe is dragging a gigantic cross on the entire route, but she is not
a fundamentalist nut. Her cross makes a plea for peace and service
and a return to our democratic ideals.

Everyone who knows her is surprised at this protest. She has never
discussed her spiritual life with any of us - but she feels that this
is something she must do and is determined to finish it.

4. What a great idea
I wish I lived close enough to join her in the march for a while.

Hope she reads the email from the link on her blog.

Can you believe the Peace march with a cross as a symbol got stopped by security?
