I was under the impression that he was gay, but now I'm reading through some old crossfire transcripts and I think what I did was confuse him with a viewer email he was reading talking about being in a committed gay relationship. Any help?

came up with nothing about his personal life or having children. However, I vaguely remember Carville mentioning seeing Novak and his wife at some Washington event sometime ago. I could have been dreaming too.

They mention his wife and daughter all the time. His daughter is married to conservative columnist Chris Caldwell and they have at least one child. I believe her name is Zelda. I think his wife is Gladys although I'm not completely positive about that.

Obviously the fact that he's married doesn't preclude him from being gay but I don't believe anyone's ever claimed that.

Apparently he is an executive producer or something like that. I don't care if he's gay. I thought it was kind of amazing that no one knew about his basic personal life.
