CNN Website....Not a Mention Of Najaf.
Edited on Mon Aug-16-04 05:38 PM by spanone
This is pitiful. Our soldiers are over there dying and No One here in the press gives a hoot. This is a wonderful tribute to our 'heroes'. When I say not a mention, I mean that the word 'Najaf' does not even APPEAR on the webpage, nor does the word 'Iraq'.

1. Actually, not seeing much even here in LBN --
weren't there stories that press had been told to leave the area? Do you think there could be a news black-out?

3. I haven't heard of a news blackout.
This nation tends to blackout bad news for bush*.

4. Much more than a newsblockout...
...journalists were told to leave or THEY WOULD BE SHOT. And those that didn't leave, nary a word has been heard, shortly after they reported many gunships in the air and tanks rolling up on the Mosque.

5. I googled Iraq for over an hour
(I was tired of hurricanes, Kobe, Michael, and Scott 24/7) and the situation is worse than ever. I found a great article in the Scotsman that I'm about to post.
