Tweety's on fire tonight
maybe a meds adjustment...but he is cutting
Matthew Dowd down to size by hammering on the
GOP and pundit tendencies to shorten the quotes
by Kerry.

8. wouldn't be surprised, he wanted to be Clinton's
and there are people who believe he was so brutal to Clinton because he couldn't get the job. He was also brutal to Gore and during the recount? Nutzo against Gore.

But he is a dem, talked about running for the Senate at one time.

6. Maybe he got the letter from DU'er/Vet -referred to in
earlier post marked (something like) "If you think active campaigning doesn't work, read on" sorry can't recall name on post but GREAT letter to newsies regarding smear/misquotes etc on Kerry/Edwards.

Told 'em to get with the truth, and was well put, it would embarass even Tweets out of auto-pilot and into doing his job- I hope they read it and PASS it ON!

(will look for proper credit & post)

10. He even had to say Clinton served with distinction
He got painted into a corner on the Cheney draft deferment issue.

Their revisionist history that they've been following finally got them painted into a corner. So much that they had to pay a backhanded compliment to Clinton.

Matthews smacked Dowd down hard tonight.

14. Last night he had a beautiful line as he was talking to Ron Reagan, Jr.
I just caught this one line and smiled. They were talking about the Florida hurricane apparently and the wealthy homes there were hit or something. Anyway, he said "yeah, a Conservatice is someone who tells you he can do it all by himself---until he can't"!! Perfect. They vote against every piece of taxation designed to help their communities, the general well being, etc. as the smuggly brag that they are rugged individualists who don't need others, etc. Then, whenever something like this happens, they are the first pigs to the trough demanding services, help, and pity. Screw them. I don't mind my tax money helping the average guy down there; but I'd like to see them cut off of all aid and let them rot in their own filth.

16. I Just Sent him an Email
I'm tired of Matthews saying NO ONE thought there were no WMD's. So I finally emailed him about my fellow Dems and I being very sure there were no WMD's.

I listed several reasons including UN Inspectors not finding any, B* not being trustworthy, and WMD info coming from neocons and Iraqi exiles!

I also told him many Americans who post on DU were sure there were no WMD's and that Matthews should read this message board.

Hope he takes my suggestion!!!

18. Ritter who was an inspector..
kept saying no WMDs. Come on! A year before Colon and Condi both said Iraq was contained. It'a Bushit. The Neo Fascists wanted Iraq and they gathered bogus info. via OSP, Chalabi and others to dupe the American public into supporting an illegal invasion.
