What is his movtive?

I'm sure most you can agree with me upon the opinion that Matthews has been an adovacate for the right on his show. Now, he is taking on the republicans deceptions and lies. He is good at it too. Is he just being a good honest republican; a rare breed, or is he moving to the left again where he began his politcal career?

Kerry is leading in the polls right now. The closer we get, if this stays the same, we will see more and more maneuvering.

Tonights show was unusually good since he really picked apart the GOP's lies to the core. The Bush Family Evil Empire's use of his own show in their 11 min. video ticked him off so he went a little further at picking them apart then usual. I could only pray that Tweety is finally getting it. But, he still shills for the right with his lack of facts in WMD lies. He seems to have a memory block that Bu$h ended the WMD inspections early so he could get his war before truth triumphed over invasion. Tweety did good work tonight, but he still way out of touch on many issues.

8. change seemed to come with 911 widows

I started to see the change in Chris Matthews when he had the 4 New Jersey 911 widows on after 911 Commission public testimony. I think he started to see the light.

11. matthews seems to have issue with blatant lieing

he was pissed he got sucked in by the swiftboat vet commercial and bonding with the doctor only to find out the doctor wasnt the one to treat kerry. a couple nights later he brought in oneil adn went after him

he did this once he heard the 9/11 widows and some things shook him what they had said

and now he has found the internet ad? that has kerry saying on his show he is an anti war candidate and bush said in speeches that is what kerry said on matthews show. that is not what kerry said. matthews has been acting like he doesnt understand kerry's position but since bushco did this blatant lie about kerry on his show, he has issue

but he clearly is better at going after the right then the left. His attacks seem more sincere when he goes after the GOP. He pisses me off a lot, but nobody else can dismantle GOP lies like he can.
